We can make koftas with different ingredients.Today my recipe is kofta made with jamun mix. The koftas were very soft and tasty.



Cashews ….5 nos soaked in water

Onion……1 or 2

Ginger…a small piece

Oil as needed

Garlic….few cloves

In a kadai add little oil and fry all the above ingredients except for cashews.

Then add enough water and cook till done. In a mixer jar add these ingredients and grind into paste.

Keep aside.

For kofta.

JAMUN mix……..1 cup

Onion…..1 finely chopped

Green chillies….1finely chopped

Carrot grated…..1 TBS
Coriander leaves..1 TBS
Salt as needed

Oil for frying the jamun.

Mix all the ingredients gently.

Make balls. Fry the jamuns and keep aside.

For gravy.


Bay leaf……1



Chilly powder…1/2 TSP

Milk……..250 ml/cream1/4 cup

Salt as needed in

Garam masala…1/2 TSP
Kasuuri methi….1 tsp

In a kadai add oil.

Add whole spices to it

Then add the grinded paste.

Add red chilli powder,coriander powder, salt and garam masala powder.

When it is cooked add milk Or cream.

Add balls 15 mts before serving.

Add chopped coriander leaves.

Serve with roti or paratha with fried rice
