Very healthy dish.
Banana stem chopped…….1cup
Boiled green gram dhal….1/2 cup
Coconut scrapings……1/4 cup
Cumin seeds……1 TBS
Garlic pods….4 or 5
Coconut oil for seasoning
Salt as required
Take a piece of banana stem.
Cut into small rounds.
Use a finger to remove the fibre.
Then in a bowl add1 TBS curd and little salt and put the chopped banana stem in that.
Grind coconut scrapings cumin seeds,green chillies,garlic pods,turmeric powder without water
In a kadai add coconut oil then add mustard seeds when it splitters add curry leaves.
Now add the chopped banana stem then add the grounded mixture and cover and cook.
After few minutes add the cooked green gram dhal and required amount of salt.
Mix well and cook for few minutes.
Serve with rice .
